This is a themed event paying homage to the style of the Kentucky Derby! 

 

Bring your MOTHER, DAUGHTER, AUNT, GRANDMOTHER, GOD-MOTHER and FRIENDS!

 

Attire: Derby Chic/ Daytime Formal 

Please wear your Derby Day Dresses, Gloves and your Over-the-Top Derby Hats/Fascinators!!

On behalf of The Detroit Derby Brunch, we would like to use this opportunity to thank you for your patience during these unprecedented times. Detroit Derby Brunch will be held on Saturday, May 1, 2021 at 11am at The Roostertail’s new 5000 square foot outdoor complex. We feel that this is the BEST option to keep us all safe and comfortable for the small number of attendees that we have.

At Detroit Derby Brunch, we take the health and safety of our guests very seriously. Here is a list of things we are implementing to ensure the safety of all of our guests.

​

  • Masks are required at all times in all areas of the facility, unless actively eating or drinking while seated

  • Masks are required while standing

  • All management are fully vaccinated

  • The Roostertail reserves the right to refuse service or close the bar if attendees do not comply with mask and social distancing requirements

  • All food and beverages will be served to tables to enforce mask wearing and eliminate areas where people can congregate

  • All tables of 6 will adhere to the social distancing rule of 6 feet. Those who purchased tables of 10 will be split (4/6 or 5/5) (i.e., Table 1a and 1b)

  • There will be an on-duty staff person assigned to be responsible for responding to COVID-19 concerns

  • Temperature checks will be administered in your vehicle upon entry into the event parking lot

  • There will be multiple hand sanitizing stations throughout the property

  • Clean, safe and fun is our goal. Your participation is necessary to make it happen

  • We plan to have an amazing Best Hat and Matching Mask contest, so be creative!!

 

Again, thank you for your continued patience, understanding, and support. These are uncertain times, but we are confident that when we emerge from this and our event will be better than ever!
